Learn more about Enrollment at Norfolk Catholic
Have you thought about where you want your child to attend school next year? There are many reasons to consider providing your child with a Norfolk Catholic education, so let's start with some numbers from our 2025 Year-End Report (click or tap here to learn more).
- Catholic community: We embrace our identity as a Catholic school.
- Students participate in Mass, including Mass for K-6, 7-12, and All-School Masses throughout the year. The public is invited to all Masses.
- Students learn about and practice the Catholic faith as part of their education.
- Prepared for college and life: On average, our students depart Norfolk Catholic equipped to handle college and life after school in general.
- Our past five graduating classes (Class of 2021 through 2025) have combined for an average ACT composite score of 23.41, compared to the national (19.72) and state (19.36) averages over that same time.
- The ACT also provides college readiness rates based on benchmark scores of 18 in English, 22 in both mathematics and reading, and 23 in science (perfect score is 36). Our past five graduating classes (Class of 2021 through 2025) have combined for a nearly 60% college readiness rate based on those marks - nearly double the national (32.7%) and state (30.3%) averages over that same time.
- Small-school environment: Attention to each individual student is part of the Norfolk Catholic experience.
- For the 2025-26 academic year, we average 41 students per grade level and a 1-14.4 K-12 teacher-student ratio.
- We have maintained these rates while at the same time experiencing growth. Our K-12 enrollment has increased by 84 students over the past five years, a jump of more than 15.7%.
- Championship culture: Norfolk Catholic extra-curricular teams have combined for 52 state championships all-time awarded by the Nebraska School Activities Association, not including individual student gold medals.
